Heroes for Health is all about celebrating the health of our community. Be a Hero for Health in your community, and walk or run with your friends and family at the 5th Annual HealthPoint Family 5k. It’s sure to be a day of fun and fitness. Adults, children, and even furry friends are welcome!
- Arrive early for an autograph and photo with Blitz, Seattle Seahawks Mascot.
- 10:00 am start time for runners and walkers (walkers and strollers will follow runners).
- Dress up as your favorite superhero if you like.
- All children receive a cape made just for Heroes for Health.
- Dogs receive a special treat!
- Post-race food, kids’ activities, and more!
HealthPoint is a 45-year-old nonprofit organization delivering medical and dental care services throughout King County. Proceeds from the event benefit HealthPoint’s non-profit medical and dental centers dedicated to providing expert, high-quality health care to all – because everyone deserves great care.
This year a portion of each registration will also be donated to Northshore Schools Foundation, furthering their goal to enrich and extend students’ educational experiences through fitness, health, and service learning. Formed in 1995 as the Northshore Public Education Foundation, the mission of the now Northshore Schools Foundation is to raise funds, and build partnerships to support District priorities of excellence and academic success for all Northshore students. The Foundation has granted over $1 million dollars to schools, funding programs and resources that benefit every student nearly every day during their school career.
