2016 marks the 7th season for the Lake Meridian Triathlons, happening for the first time on SATURDAYS (6/18 & 8/13) with the popular Olympic, Sprint, & Super Sprint distances.
Lake Meridian Park is a perfect venue for these favorite local races, voted the #1 triathlons in the Northwest for 3 of the last 4 years. You’ll find obvious and prolific course directions, numerous aid stations, and a big shiny medal and hot breakfast at the finish line. The park has a huge kids play area and many places for your families and spectators to set up camp overlooking the race and watch the action.
You can also expect a raucous finish line, post-race awards celebration, national sponsor presence, raffle prizes including a brand new bike, and an all-you-can-eat hot breakfast! Register at www.LakeMeridianTri.com.
The Lake Meridian Triathlon is proud to partner with the largest, most comprehensive nonprofit organization in the United States focused on ending Duchenne muscular dystrophy-Parent Project Muscular Dystrophy (PPMD).
Duchenne is a fatal genetic disorder that slowly robs young men of their muscle strength. As the athletes prepare for the triathlons, they’ll have the opportunity to support PPMD’s efforts to help those with Duchenne live stronger, longer lives by making donations at the time of registration or collecting donations through personal fundraising pages.
The Lake Meridian Triathlon will also be donating a portion of all race entries to PPMD.
