Celebrate the Winter Holidays at Puget Sound’s The 12K’s of Christmas Holiday Run! Now that the Cross Kirkland Corridor trail is officially opened, the run is fortunate enough to get to use part of it for both the 12K run/walk and 5K run/walk routes. This addition will provide a flatter 12K route along with plenty of added scenery. Run or walk either distance and then stay for the post-event celebration including a free kids dash for tots 10 years old and under, free food, music, a free photo wall, and a holiday costume contest!
The 12K’s of Christmas Holiday Run benefits Sleep Train Foster Kids. Foster children often go without the basic needs that most children take for granted, like school supplies, toys or even warm clothes and shoes. With your support, Sleep Train USA is making a difference for foster kids in need by raising funds and collecting essential items. This year they hope to reach even more foster children by granting little wishes like music lessons, help in school, sport involvement and other enrichment activities.
