Dr. Michelle Bostick, PT, DPT

Michelle graduated with a bachelor of arts in biology from Bryn Mawr College and a Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Washington. Michelle focuses on identifying the biomechanical causes of her patients’ injuries and uses a multifaceted approach to create a well-balanced treatment program.

As a life-long athlete in team sports including rugby, basketball, and volleyball, Michelle looks to not only help her patients recover from their injuries but also improve their movement patterns to meet new goals and challenges. Understanding that each patient has different needs for recovery, Michelle uses the biopsychosocial model to tailor her treatment to the individual. She loves working with shoulder, knee, and hip injuries. She has pursued a wealth of continuing education including NAIOMT, IPA and Mulligan courses as well as received certification as an Olympic Weightlifting Coach and CrossFit Level 1 coach.

For the last two years she has been a subject matter contributor to the Seattle area Train 2B Sturdy Women’s Enduro Mountain Bike Group. In her free time Michelle loves to progress her mountain biking, travel and try new restaurants.

“Love this place and these ladies! I was a patient of Kelcy and Shana’s back when they worked in Ballard, and they helped me tremendously with my low back issues. Since then I’ve screwed up my knee (and it turns out my hip) and they are putting me back on the road to recovery. I will be running again soon!”
