HOW BIKE WORKS MAKES A DIFFERENCE:

Youth Programs

Bike Works empowers youth to lead healthy and productive lives. In the classroom and out in the field youth participants build confidence, critical thinking, and life skills. They also learn what it means to give back through community service.

Adult Programs

From classes to volunteer opportunities, the adult programs engage people and promote bicycling.

Non-Profit Community Bike Shop

Bike Works bike shop sells affordable recycled bicycles to the greater Seattle community while generating revenue to run their programs, and help further their mission to get more people riding bikes.

Bicycle Recycling & Reuse

All of Bike Works programs are run using bikes donated by the community. They view each and every bicycle donated, refurbished, and recycled back into the community as one less bike in the landfill, and hopefully one less car on the road.

Community Events

Bike Works participates in dozens of community events each year throughout the greater Seattle area. To see what’s coming up, or to support Bike Works, check out their website at www.bikeworks.org.
